What is the Ultherapy® Treatment Like?

Ultherapy® is an in-office procedure that requires no anesthetic. During the treatment, the Ultherapy® handpiece will be maneuvered over the skin, delivering gentle ultrasound energy to the skin. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation during this process, but it is generally well-tolerated by patients. After the entire surface is treated, the treatment is complete. There is no downtime after Ultherapy®, so patients will be able to resume work and other normal activities right after their appointment. You may experience minor redness or skin sensitivity, but these effects are brief and typically fade within a few hours.

When Will I Notice Results from Ultherapy®?

Patients may notice subtle results immediately after their treatment, but it takes time for the full results of treatment to become visible. Once collagen is produced and begins to take effect in the body, you will notice more significant results. This can take up to three months after your treatment.
