Fractora is a versatile skin resurfacing treatment that doesn’t involve the downtime and side effects of other resurfacing treatments. At Layton Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, we are proud to offer Fractora skin resurfacing to residents of Houston, San Antonio, Kerrville, and the surrounding areas of Texas.
What is Fractora Skin Resurfacing?
Fractora is a non-invasive skin resurfacing procedure that uses radio-frequency energy combined with microneedling to treat skin tone and texture. Unlike fractional CO2 laser resurfacing procedures, Fractora does not create the redness, downtime, and other side effects often associated with laser resurfacing treatments. Fractora is unique in that it can be customized for each patient by the depth and intensity of treatment. Thanks to this customizability, Fractora can address superficial skin tone problems as well as deep textural concerns. Fractora can be used on the face or neck, and is safe on all skin types with little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
How Much Does Fractora Skin Resurfacing Cost?
The cost of a Fractora skin resurfacing treatment can range from $300 to $1,800 depending on the areas being treated. We also offer financing services to help make this and other treatments more affordable.
- Face: $1,000
- Neck: $600
- Chest: $600
- Face and Neck: $1,400
- Face, Neck and Chest: $1,800
- Peri-Orbital $300
- Peri-Oral: $400
What is the Fractora Skin Resurfacing Treatment Like?
The Fractora skin resurfacing treatment is performed with the unique Fractora handpiece. Before treatment, we can apply a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort that may occur during the procedure. During the treatment, the handpiece will be used to make tiny punctures in the skin. As the small needles make contact with the skin, they will emit radiofrequency energy to stimulate skin tightening and collagen production. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation during this process. After the full surface is treated, your treatment will be complete.
Is There Any Downtime After Fractora Skin Resurfacing?
There is practically no downtime required after Fractora skin resurfacing, although patients may notice minor redness and sensitivity in the skin for as long as one week. We may ask that you avoid using makeup for a day or two following treatment in order to let the skin heal. Otherwise, you will be able to return to your normal activities immediately after treatment.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Fractora Skin Resurfacing?
The Fractora skin resurfacing treatment may produce subtle results initially, but they will become more noticeable over the weeks following treatment. The full results from treatment will be visible approximately three months after your appointment. In some cases, we may recommend a series of treatments in order to achieve optimal results.
