Jeuveau™ is an injectable treatment that is related to the popular Botox® treatment. Like Botox®, Jeuveau™ is a formula composed of purified botulinum toxin. This treatment is used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles in the face. Jeuveau™ can be used to address crow’s feet, bunny lines, forehead wrinkles and frown lines. When Jeuveau™ is injected into these areas, the formula blocks nerve signals that cause facial muscles to contract. As the face relaxes, wrinkles will become less visible. Since the muscles will not contract while the formula is active, Jeuveau™ can also help prevent wrinkles from worsening.

Jeuveau™ is different from Botox® and other botulinum toxin injectable treatments because it was created exclusively for use as an aesthetic treatment. While it uses the same main ingredient and serves the same purpose, many patients prefer Jeuveau™ as a dedicated cosmetic injectable.

What is the Jeuveau™ Treatment Like?

Jeuveau™ and other injectable treatments are minimally invasive and don’t require any anesthetic for the procedure. During the treatment, a few injections of the Jeuveau™ formula will be administered to the desired treatment area. You may feel a pinch during the injection, but it is tolerable. Once the injections are finished, your treatment will be complete.

Is There Any Downtime After Jeuveau™?

The results from Jeuveau™ may not be visible for a few days until the Jeuveau™ formula takes full effect in the treated muscles. Most patients begin to notice results within a few days of treatment, with full results visible within one week. Patients can enjoy a reduction in wrinkles in the treated area for about three to four months until the Jeuveau™ formula wears off. Many patients choose to receive regular Jeuveau™ treatments in order to maintain their results.
