What is Dysport®?

What is the Dysport® Treatment Like?

During the treatment, a few injections of the Dysport® formula will be administered to the desired treatment area. You may feel a pinch during the injection, but it is tolerable. Once the injections are finished, your treatment will be complete.

Is There Any Downtime After Dysport®?

There is no downtime required after Dysport®, and you will be able to return to work and other normal activities immediately after your appointment. This is why Dysport® and other injectable treatments are commonly referred to as “lunchtime” solutions. Patients may notice minor swelling, redness or bruising around the injection site, but these effects typically fade within just a few days of treatment.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from Dysport®?

The results from Dysport® may not be visible for a few days, until the Dysport® formula takes full effect in the treated muscles. However, most patients will notice the full results from treatment within a few days. The results from Dysport® typically last about four to six months, after which time many patients choose to receive additional treatments to maintain their results.
