What is BodyFX?

BodyFX is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses radiofrequency to permanently remove fat by providing controlled, deep tissue heat to the treatment area. This is a non-invasive technique applied to the outside of the skin. The BodyFX applicator makes two pulses to distribute heat to the skin, causing the skin to shrink while simultaneously melting the fat. BodyFX can be used on nearly any area of the body with cellulite or stubborn pockets of fat.

The cost of a BodyFX treatment can vary depending on the extent of treatment necessary to deliver your desired results. What is the BodyFX Treatment Like?

The BodyFX treatment is a 30-minute treatment that can be applied to multiple areas at once. The treatment is completely non-invasive and comfortable, so no anesthetic is necessary. During treatment, the BodyFX system will deliver radiofrequency energy to the desired areas of fat. You may feel a warm or tingling sensation during this time, but it is mostly comfortable. There is no downtime after BodyFX, so you will be able to return to normal activities immediately after your appointment.

Is BodyFX Like CoolSculpting®?

The primary difference in BodyFX and CoolSculpting® is that BodyFX provides for a targeted treatment area for fat reduction and cellulite removal. In addition, BodyFX uses radio frequency and heat to tighten skin at the treated area, whereas saggy skin may still exist post fat loss with CoolSculpting®.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from BodyFX?

The results from BodyFX start gradually, and may not be noticeable for a few weeks after treatment. We typically recommend a series of weekly treatments for optimal results, usually for eight weeks. Patients can expect optimal results to become visible approximately three months after their final treatment.
