Prior to all surgical procedures, you will be provided with a time to arrive at the office or surgery center. Once you arrive and are checked in, you will meet with Dr. Layton before surgery and be provided with the opportunity to ask any questions. Dr. Layton will then mark you, you will be provided anesthesia, and when appropriate, surgery will begin. After surgery is complete, you will be in recovery for a period of time-depending on the extent of the surgery. Discharge instructions will be reviewed with your caregiver prior to you leaving. The facility will contact you or your caregiver within 24 to 48 hours following the procedure to answer any questions or provide assistance.
